slint came out of retirement & played a gorgeous set including all of "spiderland". it was as awesome as seeing failure earlier this year.

kneedrawp came to town for PAX. he is a wonderful houseguest, got me the very best of CAH swag, & is always welcome back.

i hit bumbershoot with gorthok since he got free tickets again. we saw the improvised shakespeare

thank you dear. i'm a little surprised that i'm any good at it. i'm a lot more surprised at how much i enjoy it.

this trip is through a different company, but i mostly watch groupon & livingsocial for travel deals. they just bring the opportunity though, you always have to look at the company that's ACTUALLY providing the trip. eg. the china trip was groupon, but provided by nexus. they were awesome; i'd go with nexus again in a second.

I can't imagine how my low-res videos look on a big screen; I assume they must look blocky as hell. But thanks, I'm flattered to know that I have such a devoted viewer. :3 And the art looks awesome. Hope that gun points the better way soon.

considering my eyesight, it looks about the same on a 55" hdtv across the room as it does on a 19" monitor across the desk. & you KNOW i'm a devoted viewer/listener; i even played the text parser videos while painting just because you're so damned soothing to listen to. <3

Wow, I did not expect I would ever find a gun to be so beautiful. And I even like guns.

Somehow I missed that you were finally gifted the gun I have always thought I should buy you. Somehow I felt like I was not the right person to give you a gun, though.

Also fun fact: you once made an "Unexpected Menstrual Cycle" tarot card for the official-unofficial Æthelwulf's Utopia Tarot Deck. I still keep it with my gaming supplies.

YES. i first used that at a tower player's improv show - pucky's troupe. it is always a crowd pleaser. more details on the use of it on saturday: i yelled it out just before everyone else started yelling, & the dude on stage goes, "'unexpected' what?" i knew i had him then - since he acknowledged part of my title, he'd have to fulfill it. he did not look at all pleased when i revealed the rest of it, but he was already committed. :D it was awesome.
