Whoooooo! What adventures! :) And wow, yeah, they're not kidding around with the smoking warnings, *wow*.
I love the squirrels (they look like they could take you right out, damn, big squirrels!) and the spiny iguana - gorgeous! Also the vistas. Sky and cloud and green, green, green - beautiful! The beach was lovely, too.
Seems like white horses are the go-to horse for trail rides! And ow to getting kicked, but at least nothing but skin was broken, that's a plus. *Very* nice of the hotel to comp your 'surgery', heh.
And all the food talk, as always, makes me pine for fresh fish. The fish plate and the sorbet - so vivid and tempting! :) Thanks for sharing, again.
those aren't beetles - they're bats! & that makes their inverted cross even more awesome. i took that photo from forever away - yay for 20x optical zoom :)
no matter how much aeon flux i watch, i must sadly report that the spider did not crawl out of the wound.

the squirrels were normal size, i think... just pretty. :) i fell in love with all the ctenosaurs!
hm, yeah most of the horses were white; i wonder if that was coincidental. haha well no bones were broken, but my muscle was also pretty well torn. :)
yeah, i'm tempted to drive over to whole foods right now & find a whole fish to roast. ^_^

I like the almost-inverted-cross beetles.
Holy shit, horsewound. Impressive. I knew you had stitches...now I see why! Plus random spider.
