so yeah i booked a trip to the galápagos. :D i probably won't get to see the PINK IGUANAS as they're only in one tiny place and it would've cost me $1000 more to even get NEAR their area and NOT make landfall, but i'll surely see the marine & land iguanas that live out there, plus a million other animals. i got a great deal on the package, & even ( Read more... )

DAMN, those boots. I luff. I need boots like that for when i stomp around in the yard with the dog in messy weather. But ones without laces I can just shove my feet into. I can't ever seem to find any that are *waterproof* that's not budget busting. It's annoying (and i have such terrible luck with buying online shoes i can't try on....)

And congratulations on NatGeo noticing and wanting to use your penguins vid! That's really neat.

As are *pink* iguanas. wow. Who'd a thunk. :)

SERIOUSLY? WOW. Yeah, seems like giant pink lizards would just scream *discover me!!!!*. Crazy. And it's not like the place is huge, we're not looking at Australia-sized islands, here.....

How neat.

aww, cute penguins! is that like a nest? so the national geographic, instead of sending out correspondents, watches youtube videos.... huh. i guess probably in addition to sending out correspondents. a bit odd, but cool!

yep, they nest in the side of hills. haha, i think it's probably because the penguins are generally shy, & it's uncommon to see them just chillin' in the daytime like that.
