this was just a little domestic birthday trip. i didn't go to vegas for any of the proper vegas reasons - i went to ride top-of-building rollercoasters & eat gordon ramsay's food, & aj was kind enough to go along with me. have some bulletpoints & most of the snapchats i did while there. :)

Many happy belated returns of the day!

Ah, Vegas. I went when I was...eight? To visit my mom's brother, who lives there. We drove, from MO to Vegas in June, heh. AND, my parents quit smoking the day we left MO. Surprisingly good trip. We went to Circus Circus and us kids sat in the 'family' (restricted) area and watched a trapeze act.

It's all so different now. I love the horse sculpture (second picture?) - and ziplining all over the place! They're well set for the zombie apocalypse. Every time i watch 'Hell's Kitchen', I crave beef wellington, but the lobster and such sounds delightful!

I love the shot of the city all in shadow and the mountains catching the sun - very cool.

the horse sculpture was outside of wynn, not circus circus. i just loved it when we drove by.

wellington was on the menu, but it's just not a dish i care about. :)

They are REALLY prepared for the zombie apocalypse because they have a Zombie Apocalypse Store. It gets more ridiculous every time I visit.

Oh I missed that you saw Zumanity; that is one of the only things I did there in my recent brief stop (other than eating chicken & waffles). That was a good time, and I pretty much exclusively drink coffee out of my Zumanity "female/male/female silhouette" threesome mug, because nothing says "sex god" like thinking coffee is only good when it is 80% cream and sugar.

Also...carrot cake? CARROT CAKE?!?!

It all started because Jon told me that adding coffee to a cup full of cream and sugar tasted like candy. And he was right.

I actually just started thinking a few months back that now that I am Dr. Quarex there is no reason to keep drinking coffee, since its primary appeal was "something to do while writing endlessly from Midnight - 6."

the blueberry watermelon ito sounds and looks great.. been to vegas twice, i actually like gambling in healthy amounts. the first time i went we stayed at the hilton off the strip and they had star trek: the experience, which was a lot of fun...
