the reason they do 15 parabolas only is because they've found that most people are totally fine for that long; nasa's "vomit comet" is 40-80 parabolas in quick succession

That sounds amazing. I wonder what it does to the pilots; do they get used to it, or do they have to switch off?

since the pilots are strapped in, there isn't the same brain vs eyes vs inner ear dilemma that causes motion sickness. so i figure they're no worse off than riding an average roller coaster.

And yeah - that's an experience i have zero interest in ever having, though it's cool to hear about it. Even if i *could* ever get into space (billionaire, won a place on a commercial flight), i'd still probably spend the whole time throwing up or being dead, heh.
