Ugh, so I'm supposed to go out of town this weekend, but I'm not dealing well with the idea of having to leave my dog at a kennel. Especially considering I wouldn't be able to pick her up until Tuesday afternoon because the place is closed on Monday and I start a new clinical rotation at 8am on Tuesday

What kind of dog do you have? (I love dogs, so that's why the random question) This is why I'm really grateful that my mom lives pretty close to me and always takes care of my pets if I have to go somewhere. But it's not a very long while and she'll surely be okay at the vet's, right?

She's a beagle.

She's super cute! Do you go hunting with her? (might be a stupid question but where I'm from beagles are mostly kept by people who like tunting rabbits)

No, I don't hunt with my dog. She'd be the worst hunting dog ever. No discipline, at all.
