I bet some hungry people would be thrilled. Food from a food bank is often just food - no spices. However, some Americans like me can't take the heat.

I'd try it. The worst that happens is the food bank says no, and you have extra hot peppers...

i'd check your local food banks and see if they will take them. I know FoodLink won't take anything homegrown, canned or otherwise.

I'm not nearly as hardcore at growing things as that, but I have some very tiny baby oregano growing in my living room window ^_^

Or you mean the "another row" idea? Yeah. I'm thinking of, if there is an Ithaca branch, just growing "another plant," since my garden is tiny and containered.
