I am making this outfit for my company Christmas party:
(Butterick, pattern B5007)
I'm thinking that stretchy crushed 'velvet' material in either dark blue or dark teal green. I'll probably make a little purse/bag to match as well. I'd love to do it in one of those fancy velvets with the tiny silver 'jewel' patterns on it, but I can't afford $15 per yard.
Also, it will not look anywhere near as good on me as it does on the model, since I'm probably twice her weight. But I'm used to that. sigh
