I am now quite sure that watching the stupid makeover shows that come on after trading spaces (my fave show)is detrimental to my mental health. At 25, I've finally got as close as I've ever gotten to accepting that my 32 Bs are ok. And then I watch the women who are crying about feeling abnormal because they have abnormally small breasts and want ( Read more... )

I haven't had issues with my small-chestedness since high school. Still, my ex was once talking about an old girlfriend of his. During the conversation, he made some remark about how very flat-chested she was, then followed it up with, "She was hardly bigger than you!" Uh. Thanks. LOL There's a reason he's an ex. ;)

For what it's worth, I always thought your figure was great, and among the USM faculty & grad staff, you were widely recognized as one of the hottest tickets around. Enjoy your 32B's, 'cause Lord knows plenty of other people do. :)

Does being a mother teach you how to say exactly the right thing, or did you do that before?

No one has abnormally small breasts. Everyone has normally small, or medium, or large, breasts.

I wish body-image wasn't so comodified. Or, if it must be, that it were more positive-self-esteem oriented and less indian-sex-slave/artificially-bloated-porn-star oriented.

well, if I would turn off the TV after Trading Spaces, I'd be fine. I don't generally think much about it unless 1) I watch that show, or 2) Someone gives me a shirt that vees at about my navel.

Heh. If they give you that shirt, why are you worried. They clearly want you to wear it. :-P

My best friend and I once discussed how there should be some sort of breast-sharing ability among women. I've got far too much in the chest department; my clothes never fit properly and I'm always crossing my arms, wearing jackets and baggy clothes, etc. to cover that up. I've never felt good about the size of my breasts. If I could just give away a couple cup sizes (I can spare quite a few at this point) to someone who wanted them, that would be perfect. Everyone could be happy and comfortable.
