LIKE A BOSS!!
Guess what I just finished?
OHHHHH YEAHHHHHHHH.
My novel is currently a huge mess. I have chapters 1 to 7 fully completed (although chapters 2 and 5 really suck), but everything from chapter 8 on is a mess of random bits and scenes. My characters are written inconsistently, my tone is inconsistent, there’s errors in consistency everywhere, and there’s large amounts of filler. Still, it’s a start. I signed up because I really needed some motivation to work on my story. I’m only about a third of the way through this novel and I don’t know what’s ultimately going to happen, but I’m more confident about my story now.
I’m just so pumped about finishing. I wasn’t expecting to win, but I found out it wasn’t so difficult after all. Once I got through the first three chapters, things started falling into place.
I know I promised back at the end of September that I would upload a story summary/character profiles/other story shit to magicians_book. I got preoccupied with other stuff. I'm really shy about sharing my writing with other people, so bear with me.
