missy pooh! I had such a great time! Thanks so much for coming! I hope youre doing alright today. Anywho, get any kind of MP3 player besides an iPod! Theyre such crap, theyre cliche, and apple makes nothing good anyway. I love you the most!

ps - Ill call you monday or tuesday, but not sure which. Depends how much i do tonight.

well...i, personally, love my ipod. i got it for my birthday...and it hasn't died yet. (maybe it will soon...but i hope not.) at first i didn't want it, but i actually really like it now. it's easy to use and pretty convenient for me.

i don't really know much about all different kinds of mp3 players. i think there are ones out there that give you more space and more capabilities for cheaper.

iPod mini is my friend :D

And forget what everyone else has said. Mine's a generation 1 mini, over a year old, and still running beautifully.

I have an iPod that I bought cheaply off of a guy because of down-payment car stuff, but I don't think I would buy one new. They are nice and pretty, but on the older ones at least, the battery would begin to crap out, and if you accidently unpluf them from the computer they would freeze, and since the battery is internal, you just have to wait until it dies on it's own. Other than stylistically, they aren't too spiffy.

I would recomend taking a look at the Dell Nomad. It's pretty much the same thing as an iPod, but cheaper, and with replaceable rechargeable batteries.

$229 - 30 gigs

and actually, I was just looking on Cnet since you got me interested, and yea, there are a crap load of alternatives to the iPod. Some are a bit bulkier, but one from Creative claims to hold a battery life of 24 hours

my friend just got one of those, and he says its pretty badass, although the battery life is 22-23 hours instead of 24. Of course, its rechargable, and 3x better than anything from crappy apple.
