So sorry about your dog dieing like that, that sounds downright horrifying. God.

And the car breaking down on the highway (you have stoplights there?), what scary shit! I'm glad you were fine and that it wasn't a big thing after all, but it must have been such an awful situation. My car started doing a similar thing a few weeks ago (not breaking down, just the accelerating and vibrating bit), and that already had me worried. So I sympathise.

Oh shit, poor Michael. That is a horrible way to go. I'm also really sorry your sister had to go through this alone. I'm not sure I would have been able to do this either.

Happy your car ended up being ok (car trouble is fucking traumatic as anything -- jesus -- my roommate was just t-boned in an accident NOT HER FAULT that ended up costing $14K in damage to her car, but like she's alive, and at the end of the day...)! ----

So, so sorry to hear about your family dog. It is one of the hardest things in the world, to lose a pet -- especially like that, in such a shocking and quick way, before his time. My thoughts are with you and your family, and your spirited sweet dog. & your sister is a brave woman to have dealt with that situation. ♥ ♥ ♥
