We didn't do anything at all on the 4th - and didn't even buy fireworks for the first time in MANY years. Chester was freaked out by the noise so we listened to music in the stereo room and let him drool in my lap

i don't know where to sleep on the street in Paris, but it sounds like fun! i'm sure we'll be able to find something- when i was there in august last time, there were lots of places.
