Twenty-three feels young enough for me, but it also forces me to understand that I've been alive for quite a substantial amount of time. Not that I'm OLD, you see, but that I have... history. Heh.

I'm housesitting at a really nice home right now. I've been here a week and I have a week left. There's a little friendly dog to take care of and a leopard gecko that needs me to feed it crickets. Mmm, yummy!

My family stopped over last night with an ice cream cake and an iPod mini. THAT was an unexpected surprise, and I'm delighted to have it.
Today, I'm off to see Charlie and the Chocolate Factory with two friends and a sister and a brother. Dinner plans afterward. Methinks a good birthday is in order.

Thanks for remembering, you're so sweet.
Natalie sent me a handmade card. I'm about to send her a little something as well. I wonder if she's wishing as much as I am that we were both at camp hanging out with Cecil right now..
