Hi there. I'm Courtney, one of the mods and the community founder.

Since I said all this about a week ago and can't find a way to repeat myself without sounding very annoyed or rude I'm going to leave it at this:

1) We WANT people to introduce themselves. That's why we provide a template in the site's user info.

2) This is a community for people to offer mutual support in their efforts to improve upon and publish their writing. We are not a beta service or showcase for writers to waltz in and promote their work.

3) F-lock your posts

Please take the time to introduce yourself. I think people would like to know who you are, why you're here and what your interests are. We're not in the habit of reading total stranger's writing.
