I love that movie for so many reasons, but one of the chief ones may be the fact that it alerted me to Penn Badgely actually being SUPER HOT. I had had no idea previously.

Also, HER PARENTS. UGH. I loved them SO MUCH.

Not gonna lie, when the uglier side of her "reputation" surfaced and she was all "I don't like myself very much right now" I got a little teary eyed D:

I was actually surprised by how well done this movie was tbh, definitely one of my more recent favorites (y)

I loved Loved LOVED this movie, and you perfectly explained why. Plus, Patricia Clarkson. And Stanley Tucci. And the little brother. *Squee* This is the first movie in a long time that I HAD to own once it came out on video. Thanks for her.

Her parents were my favorite part of the movie. They had such a great dynamic.
