I thought Lena's story was always about the things she didn't do rather the things she did, all these regrets about never making connections when she could have. I love Lena, for all the reasons you said.

Apparently no one knows about it! It has a completely different cover from the others and was released as "adult" fiction, so I think people just missed it.
