You know, I really, really love this movie (and any movie with Brittany Murphy can easily make me tear up), but I have to say, I always thought that Drew Barrymore wasn't the best choice to play Fay. For one, I think she was a little old to play her as a teenager (which is most of the movie) and when they got to the 'present', she looked kind of ridiculously young next to her grown son (and Adam Garcia is, in fact, older than her). I don't know who I would have cast in her place though.
