This is another performance on my list--Ashley Judd is a revelation in this film, and I really love Ellen Burstyn, too. I haven't read the books, but I heard about them, and decided for me I didn't need all the details. But I so love this movie.

I really love the movie as well. I think Ashley Judd was just incredible, and she was the absolute perfect choice to play Vivi.

The books are good, but they can make it really hard to like Vivi. I'm always sad they didn't make more movies from the series.
