I finished my edits on Tapdancing the Minefields. I really love that one. It's coming along to be one of my favorites. I did a little work on Dry my Dreaming (my NCIS/Aberrant Magic crossover) and then tried to settle into a new profic story. I just couldn't write.

I tried to go back to Texas Magic, but I think I need to back up on that one. I

Angel is gritty. This would be a big change from following the team, but this is the series where I do weird shit anyway.

there's a lot here, and for some reason, I like the reference to him being 14 yo...i like this!

Anyway, I like Angel's voice a lot. Want to read this story, now, kind of thing. :-)

And I like the blurb. Very curious about Mateo.

I'm glad that the hints at Angel's past were enough to make him endearing. He is a crusty and crude soul, so I want the reader to realize there is something worth saving under the rough surface.
