I just got the notice that Taming the Muse has been gone for a year, and the name is about to go back out on the free market. I turned that over years ago, but I have such fond memories of the community that it hurts to see it disappear forever. The ones that aren't archived on another journal or site will just vanish. Sad.

I know I was very sad to see that as well. I went to find it not that long ago to get a prompt to kick start my brain and was really sad to find it gone.

I can honestly say I wouldn't have got through the first couple of years of writing, after so many years of not writing, if it hadn't been for the discipline of writing for TtM. :(

That community kept me going when I hadn't developed good writing habits, so to see it vanish is so very sad. I guess they decided it had run its course.
