Another month gone and now NaNoWriMo is staring me in the eye. So, it’s been a big month. Claimings 4 came out, and so far, it is selling almost as well as the first Claimings book. I’m also full speed ahead on Earth Fathers are Weird. Max has just figured out that he’s knocked up, and he’s less than pleased.

Sorry but could you tell me which book that is? I must have missed it.

I'm working on that book now. I'm up to five chapters at Patreon. It's call Earth Fathers are Weird.

Captain Maxwell Davis and his entire unit scrambled to get in the air when alien ships appeared over the East Coast. They caught the ship over Iowa. He has no idea what happened to the others, but the aliens destroyed his jet and took him into their ship where they informed in that Earth was the dirt back road the Nish had used to attempt an escape. They also informed him that Earth was too far outside regular shipping lanes to return him.

So Max ends up in an alien spaceport looking for work. To afford a ticket home he can either spend three hundred years working with linguists to improve the computer's questionable ability to translate English or he can take a job as a nanny for an unpopular alien. That way he can afford the ticket in four years. The problem is that the computer may have mistranslated the word "nanny" and there might be a reason an alien is willing to pay such a high fee.
