Lancer stumbled out of bed and fell across the room to slam his fist down on the alarm clock. The only way he could make sure it woke him up was putting it across the room

Kwan woke up to the sound of feet in the hallway. For a moment, he wondered why Masters was walking around outside the door to his room. Then the memories came rushing back. He frowned as he rolled out of bed, disturbing kitty and puppies.

After dressing in the only clothes he had left, Kwan wandered down the hallway and into the kitchen.

"Whoa!" he exclaimed, slapping a hand over his eyes. That was definitely not a sight he expected to wake up to in the morning.

The reason for pants became apparent quickly enough.

"Umm..." Lancer said, words too busy being dead to come to his aid. Until he woke up. "I knew there was a reason I should be wearing pants."

"You didn't think it would be a good idea to put some on before leaving your room?" Kwan asked, remaining where he stood in the kitchen doorway with his eyes covered.

"Why?" Lancer asked. "Kitty doesn't care and it's very warm at night."

He turned to face Kwan and waited for the boy to move.
