Well... I've got half a week off. Then I have to go back in.

Bleh.

I guess I can use the time to turn that lawn of weeds and loose soil into a garden. The Secret Garden, I want wild growth!

They're plants, Dan. I don't know how tentacly or monstrous plants can be.

Clearly you need to watch more porn.

No, no, I've seen The Evil Dead. Vine-rape scenes and everything. But I don't think my copy of the Necronomicon is going to be stolen by a group of kids, taken to a cabin in the woods, then lost as the vine-rape plants rape and kill everyone.

Gardening, huh? I warn you that I've never been much help with gardening.

Don't worry about it. Essentially just take the old "lawn" out, put plants in, then let them make chaos.

Hopefully the chaos will be good.

I've never actually planted anything and had it grow into something.

It's easy. Stick a seed in the ground, throw some water at it and leave it alone. Usually works. If it doesn't, eh, try again.

This I'm going to start with living plants. Easier, takes less time. I'll show you how in a few days once all the dead grass is gone.

I'm so excited that it's summer. I can finally start spending more time in my greenhouse. Mom and Dad didn't take proper care of them while I was gone to France and my poor babies suffered.

I can fix that now though.

Are any of them still alive? Most plants can handle only so much shock before needing replanting.

A few of my stronger ones are...my parents didn't take direct care of them (manual labor are you KIDDING)...they got the butler to do it. He was alright...but...it still wasn't the same.

At least I have Milo my fly trap...I took him to France with me after all.

Well some plants I doubt even your parent's effort could kill. Jade plants live forever just off of the water in the air.

Yes, at least you still have Milo. Flytraps are finicky plants. Never managed to keep one alive, myself.
