"All the animals in Jurassic Park are female. We've engineered them that way."

We had our Halloween party at work today. Employees brought their kids in and they trick or treated around the office. We had food, music, and a costume contest for the adults. It was a great time! I was also happy because I got to wear my super easy and inexpensive costume. I dressed up as...

This costume was so much fun! Some people got it, other people had to stare at me for a while before it sunk in (or I explained it). I got the ID badge from these awesome guys. Sadly, I don't think I'll get the chance to wear it again this year. I think this was my one big Halloween event for the season. Seeing as the actual holiday falls on a Wednesday I don't think I'll have the energy/time to go anywhere or do anything. Stupid adult responsibilities.

I went to the Rifftrax Live Presents: Birdemic event last night with Alex and our friend Logan. Oh. My. God. We could not stop laughing! Seriously, that was so much fun! It was a great crowd in the audience, too. We were all laughing, clapping, and making comments among one another. I just love being in a place where you think "yes...these are my people." So yeah, it was a great show. And there were so many memorable quotes that we'll be repeating for a while. "Solar panels!" "imagine all the eagles..." "another parking scene!" "hang in there bird Rod!" "another round number!" "cedar bark beetles caused global warming?!"

After the film we got to talking about TV shows. Logan asked us if we had started watching Sherlock yet. We said we haven't, but we are watching Elementary. Guys...He. Flipped. His. Shit! Yes, apparently he's one of those Sherlock fans. He hates Elementary on principal because he believes they ripped off Sherlock and dumbed it down for an American audience. He also hates the fact that it's set in New York and that they made Watson a woman. Angie, I totally stole your tag and shouted that I hope Lucy Liu plays all his favorites at him. We argued with him about it for a while and eventually Alex and I left letting Logan know that we were going home to watch the latest episode, lol. Whatever. HATERS TO THE LEFT.
