finding a term in a dictionary

Hi, guys!

I’m doing a study in literary metamorphoses and I’ve got a problem finding full-fledged definitions of the term in dictionaries of literary terms. The only exception is The Encyclopedia of Fantasy by J. Clute & J. Grant which does the job with really good entries for ‘metamorphosis’ and ‘shapeshifting’. I presume you're going to mention Ovid's Metamorphoses, right? "Metamorphoses" isn't a commonly-used literary term as far as I know. I'd suggest looking in the MLA bib for articles on shape-shifting and metamorphosis. And email your instructor to check that this is a direction he/she would support.
