I would have to disagree as to the relative merits of Spirited Away and Rozencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead. The former I couldn't take as much more than a fanciful stroll into abstract imagery (though it did look gorgeous). The latter is a clever look into the nature of being, while still managing to be downright hilarious. And it weaves in and out of the Hamlet story in brilliant manner.

Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead certainly was far more intellectually stimulating and literarily heartwarming (and Oldman, Roth, and Dreyfuss were wonderful), but I was more deeply affected by the imagery of Spirited Away. The plot was often arbitrary and the resolution a little too deus ex machina for my tastes, yet it took me somewhere I had never been...

i find ever after to be my favorite movie of all time...and it's even more enjoyable in the company of a quiet, mysterious young man who pets my head until i find myself in the land of dreams :)

hoodwinked was also good...i was rather upset who the culprit was, even though i guessed it earlier on while watching it with a 10 year old

Ever After wouldn't have been the same without you ;)

I enjoyed Hoodwinked for the inventive spin on the classic tale... And the talking animals. I totally like talking animals.
