And so begins my Sunday at 3:33 a.m. It is not my door that is being hammered upon, but the apartment adjacent to mine.

Open up, man! **thwap** If you don't... I stumble from bed, slip into clothes, and head toward the commotion. Through the keyhole I see a uniformed officer, baton drawn, escorting ( Read more... )

Casino Royale.... we saw it for Thanksgiving (it's what we do, Roo and I). And it's not fair to say he's human, 'cause the man is quite a specimen and those blue eyes are out of control. Plus, those tailored suits and his pompous attitude (+ those eyes) make him more of a demi-god than regular man. i do like how he fell for Vesper though, and she screwed him.

Over all? Kind of a snooze. Very slow in parts, and the obvious visual cues from previous Bond films was cheesy at best.

Can you tell, I was opting for Happy Feet?

While I found him quite the attractive specimen, I thought he was more sympathetic than previous Bonds because of his suffering and occasional fumbles. This guy was capable of being killed.

I'm afraid of Happy Feet-part of me wants to see it, but another part is very, very afraid.

I'm working on the pimp cane. I found some for sale online, but those are probably made by starving children in Indonesia. Because of what the pimp cane represents, one must be socially conscious of its origins. It needs to be crafted in the same culture where it will be mercilessly deployed against unsuspecting biziatches. Thus, the power of the pimp cane.
