Beginning my fourth month as a vegetarian, I find myself gazing wistfully at things that are unrelated to being a vegetarian.

I like the idea that considerate friends of the water planet must not practice despair, but hope. I also like the phrasing of quiet influence.

Here's a little writeup I did:All in all, I'd say we both enjoyed the movie. It certainly does not deserve the tag of "spy thriller" that the studio and critics are trying to attach to it. It's more a character study of somebody who happens to be a spy. Very little thrill involved. Despite that, I never felt bored during the film, even during the inevitable (and usually interminable) middle-of-the-movie-a-character-questions-himself scenes ( ... )

I tried starting a thread on the movie for a message board. It sunk like a stone.

I usually don't write my impressions of movies, but it's kind of you to ask.

And I feel like a right moron for not taking note of the cinematography. As you point out, it was definitely present, even at times oppressive. It actually being a snowy winter in DC (Cassie and I thought back on this while having a late lunch after the movie), that certainly helped set the mood the director polished.
