Here's a photo shoot from last autumn. For this one, I wore Classic Lolita style. I just love the dark green color of the dress! As usual, my photographer was the amazing Géraldine Vincent.
I'm not sure how I feel about the colors this time... I think they're a bit too dark on you, giving a more somber feel (I can imagine the last one being someone who just left a funeral o_o ) I do like the pose with the tree, but I wish you were smiling like 'ooo, is there a bird up there?' because the way you're posing gives off that effect. I do like the diagonal effect and the grin on your face under the umbrella, but (I think because of the color) you come off serious or matronly like 'ohh look at those kids; they're so silly'
I do think the one where your arm out is the one I find most artistic. XD I think it has to do with how carefully the arm is posed and that your elbows rest about at 2/3s of the picture. I also like the painted quality the zoom-in creates for the background. :D
Thanks for the detailed feedback! You have a good eye for composition, and it really helps me out! ^_^ I have Gothic tendencies, so I dress in black or other dark colors almost every day. It's only in Lolita fashion that I sometimes dabble in pastels, because I love all the Lolita styles and end up wanting to try every single color! I'll see if I can wear something a little brighter in a future photo shoot. XD
You are so beautiful. <3 This outfit is perfetc IMO. I think the cut of the coat at the back works great with the bustle. You've really thought this outfit out, I can tell! I think the classy, gothic look really suits you.
