I also see a great deal of Catherine Morland, but my first and strongest impression remains Jane Bennett for your positives (selfless, patient, loyal, good shoulder to cry on), and your "this or that" section. You're a wee bit more extroverted, perhaps, but I still think she fits.
I admit that I haven't read any of Jane Austen's novels, but I'll try my best. :) My very first thought is Emma Woodhouse but I think that Marianne Dashwood might fit you better. She is romantic and idealistic. By the way, your answer to "A wealthy, respectable man..." reminds me of her too because she values love more than stability.
I see a lot of Catherine Morland but in the end you strike me more as Emma Woodhouse Your traits, and the "your own Jane Austen" section are very Emma.
I hate to vote you as your main stamp, but you totally strike me as Emma Woodhouse most with maybe a little of Marianne Dashwood. But I see Emma overall - how you are a romantic, an optimist, but can get easily annoyed. Also, a lot of your other answers strike me as Emma, like how you said you'd 'turn down with a question' a rich man who wanted to marry you but you had no feelings for ;)
