Today's not such a good day for me. My eyes are puffy and red from three breakdowns and it ain't even breakfast yet.

I've decided that comics are naturally porny (which is why Smallville is a great show no matter what anyone else tells you), and comic book characters are better for slashing than most male characters on TV. There's such a ridiculous amount of homoerotic subtext in comics that it takes very little effort to believe that yes, Dick is in love with Bruce and also attracted to lots of other people/aliens/whatnot, and is obviously bisexual. Plus, he is physically attractive in the most ideal way, because each of us humanises him in our own head. If that makes sense. I can't imagine any actor doing Dick (or Bruce) justice, because no real person could be as perfectly hot as he is in my imagination. (Although a younger, smaller, more agile Tom Welling might be beautiful looking enough -- he certainly has the right smile and hair.)

Um, how about this? Astolat has a really cool SV/JLU crossover here. It's not particularly porny, but it's a really fascinating look at the similarities and differences between comics Lex and SV Lex.
And, um, have you read this post-Deathly Hallows Harry/Draco story?

I know we don't know eachother, but I gotta try. You're a friend of Kay's and you joined escarabajo_azul even though I did kind of let it die, and therefore you are amazing.
So! Good things about comics, 'cos that's what I know:
- Dwayne McDuffie is taking over JLA, and since I loved JLU, I fully expect this to be awesome.
- Booster not only has his own ongoing, but it's even better than the original. And everything else. And someday it'll cross over with Jaime's book and I will be ded from awesome.
- Dan Garrett seems set to be a recurring character in Booster Gold. Dan the motherfucking Garrett, who's been nothing but dead since 1966. ... This one's probably more for me than for you. But assuming it is, in fact, Dan Supergenius Archaeologist Physicist Chemist Engineer Throws-People-At-Planets Garrett, I assure you, it will be fantastic ( ... )
