Hal has to stay on Earth so he can keep having irresponsible sex above his airfield and John needs to stay there to keep an eye on him but they definitely have guest rooms and the new Warrior's is going to be so popular. Salaak will spread the news about how entertaining the crazy earthmen who live together are and it'll be a curiosity - like stopping at the zoo. AND REMEMBER HOW RIGHT WE BOTH WERE? Did you laugh as hard as I did at all the panels with Guy and Kyle saying 'I guess somebody's trying to tell me something'. Not only are we all powerful but WE WERE IN THE COMIC.

Hmm I wonder if they'll change the name of the bar to something else now.

No, wait, the first time I read it I was too busy yelling AM I HALLUCINATING THIS? DID ASHLEY HAVE SOMEONE KILLED? I laughed the second time. Oh god yeah the art in that JLA issue was painful. It was one of the few comics I've given back to the shop just because I couldn't stand the idea of it sitting in my longbox in close proximity to beautiful things like Green Lantern. I mean what if the ugly was catching?

Not only Guy being all mentor but all the bios of the lanterns!! It took me ages to read them all but the imagination of it all was incredible - a math equation lantern and crypt keepers?! They're just showing off now.

HOW IS THAT NOT THE MOST AWESOME THING EVER?!?

IT IS!!!! So awesome that I even forgive Tomasi for having Dick introduce himself as Richard. So awesome that the bar really deserves a series all it's own you know? And it should come out weekly. That's it. Let's write to Didio and tell him to scrap those plans for the third weekly book - we've found the perfect idea for him.

AHAHAHA ANOTHER ONE SEES THE LIGHT! You saw what happened when just two of us sent our feelings out into the universe - issue #20. Imagine what we could do with four or five of us.

I can't figure out how nobody saw it before because it's simple arithmetic really. Take all the massive amounts of awesome that is Guy, add to that all the hotness, woobie, and wonderful that is Kyle and you get Off the Scales YAYE.

I've been allergic to the internet and off groping getting to know Marvel books while I waited for it to pass ;)

YES YOU MOST CERTAINLY DO NEED TO READ GREEN LANTERN CORPS. Kittens and puppies and babies will die if you don't. Did you end up reading the Sinestro Corps War? The ending!! All I could think over and over and over again on a loop while I read it was I LOVE COMICS OH SWEET JESUS I LOVE COMICS.

I actually finally got my comics after a month of being comic free. I was all fidgety like a crack head LOL. I'm catching up right now. I missed them so much. I'm really happy you're reading some Marvel finally there are some very good books. I think I'm going to pick up the Sinestro Corps War on trade when it's out same with Green Lantern Corps which I have heard from more than one person is awesome and I of course do not want any kittens, puppies, or babies to die. It's for the betterment of society. So now that you're reading some Marvel any faves so far?

NO KIDDING.

Well, I haven't read tons of Marvel yet and my boss has been having me go through some of the big events first like Civil War (ugh loathed), House of M, Avengers Disassembled, World War Hulk (more loathing) - things like that. This way is probably not the best for getting someone to love a universe but it helps me answer people's questions, so. Right now I'm loving the crap out of Brubaker's Captain America and Immortal Iron Fist and I'm fond of Thor, some of the New Avengers stuff I've read, and the 2 Young Avengers trades. While I'm not really digging (this is maybe an understatement LOL) the whole registration aspect of the current continuity - I am falling for many of the characters and that's what really matters right? Do you have any suggestions? I would love some!
