Another day, another progress report

Finished all my Psych stuff. Updating the format on my Game Document today, along with a couple open-book exams. No worries there; I could teach Game 101 if I had the right paperwork behind my name

That is indeed epic. And I can vouch for Ruby Tuesday's; the one in Richmond is quite good. They're also very reasonable about having Vegetarian options, and subbing things in for those of us who don't eat meat ;) Sorry it took you so long to get there, though!

And how did you not know about GIMP? It's been around what seems like forever! Granted, the UI sucks, but that's what you get when the UI is designed by engineers and programmers, rather than HCI experts. But hey, can't beat the price!

Also, we gotta talk sometime. I miss you!

I don't like its default canvas sizes. If I have an image waiting on the clipboard, and I start a new gimp file, it should either scale it to my selection, or at least expand it when I paste it down. Even ms paint does that. It's a small thing, but it's my first annoyance. Of course, Photoshop isn't perfect either. I won't even begin to get into that.

I've been living under a rock apparently, but I have it now, and I'll be making the most of it. Good talking with you earlier today, and I'll look forward to seeing you when I'm finally back in town. Take care!

I feel desireous to learn about this Gimp phenomenon. But also feel a lack of technical skills. Yearnings to run into the woods and forget about everything, and learn about all I've forgot.
