These are all so beautiful! How do you get such smoothness on them? I'm new to icon making and when I snag from screencaps and try to work with them, my icons come out all grainy. :( Yours are so smooth: the skin, the textures, the different elements in the pics themselves. I'm jealous AND curious!

Also, stealing 5,8,14,24 cuz they're my faves!

Well, I make sure I don't do anything to the image until it's icon sized. Then I sharpen, use a softening tool and then sharpen again. It really depends on the image you have. Most images can be fixed though.
