Hello. I've just joined your community. Here is my first contribution. I noticed that on the rules page, it specifies that stories should be put behind a cut and that a clean paragraph can be presented on the front page. Would a short like this need to be put behind a cut or is this clean and short enough?
The Bus Ride
I uncross my legs and then recross them. Though my eyes are demurely lowered to my book, I watch him in the background. I know he is watching me. The bus hits a speed bump and I let my book jump out of my hands. It lands and my feet. I quickly uncross my legs, spreading them slightly to brace myself while I stand up. But before I rise, he is kneeling before me, book in hand. He looks up at me. I start to bring my knees together and then I stop. I widen my legs just a bit more, inviting his gaze. He lowers his eyes and peers up my skirt. My legs slip a little farther. He leans slightly towards me, inhaling deeply. The bus hits another bump and I slide my knees together, caressing his cheek with my nylon clad leg. He hands me my book and smiles. He returns to his seat, and I return to my book. I cross my legs.
