I've been waiting a long time for a snowfall significant enough for me to begin my winter photography excursions.  The recent blizzard provided the perfect opportunity.

Goffle Brook of a December Day
William Carlos Williams once opened a poem about Spring with "Goffle brook of a May day blossoms in the manner of antiquity".  Suffice to say Goffle Brook is not exactly blossoming in this picture, but its character nonetheless defies the modern suburbs through which it flows.
