This is what you do to me: tear my heartstrings out and play them a sonata that brings tears to my eyes for the sheer beauty. I love this piece. Why? Let me break it down.

1. History called and invited him to tea. Tea, peoples! It's ludicrously polite. It's adorable, particularly because it's backed by semi-reluctant, wholly admiring menace. How can I not love that?

2. That sheer possessiveness. He was mine first. She's the jealous ex and she treats him with professional respect, true affection, and the kind of courtesy you would expect from assassins playing for opposite teams, but she treats Collie like the "other woman" and gets treated the same in kind. The hole through the purse was absolutely priceless. Priceless. About that leash

2. God Help the World

"Hawkeye." Philippa's voice was too calm for the popping sounds of grenades firing off in the background over Collie's earpiece. "Hawkeye!"

Hawkeye ignored it. She was climbing the d- wall (hands are burning; ignore the blisters, the flaming glare in her peripheral vision)."Hawkeye," Niko's voice sharp enough to jar her out of that archer-induced reverie as she jammed her leg into a good foothold at the top corner edge of the building, bow out, arrow in hand, eyes sharp. "Get out of there." That clipped Russian accent, explosions bursting through the night and the sound of his breath hissing through gritted teeth as the ancient mantra pounded in her head
