"Our solar system is around 10% from the edge of the milky way, that means that if we sent a space ship going at the speed of light out of our solar system, it would take 90,000 years to get out of this galaxy. There are around 100 billion gallaxies in the universe."

The earth is extremely large to people, but in the solar system it is a pretty small ball. Our solar system is nothing more than spec of dust in the galaxy. Our galaxy is nothing but a spec of dust in the universe.

All that is easily said but impossible to comprehend. I deal with it by not measuring up the significance of emotions, experiences, and life to the physical world. Let's just get on with our lives and be happy that we're here now.
