I want to write to some of the textbook companies about including what really happened in our history as a country (and before).

I was asking about the event you mentioned of bombing blacks from airplanes. There are a lot of things that need to be changed in history books.

I agree, I'm in college and I'm still learning basic history. Are they afraid we'll be ashamed of our country? Well....it's too late.
