That does sound steep, but it's in a good area, especially since you don't have a car. You're within walking distance of a lot of things and if you're splitting the rent, it shouldn't be too bad, especially with all bills paid.

Our place is about 1000 sq ft, with 2br/2ba and W/D included for just $625/mo.

Either way, it'll be nice to have you near by! Maybe we'll get to hang out more :).

man, your apartment is super affordable! too bad apartments like that for rates like that aren't closer to campus. I wish we had 2 baths instead of 1, but I still think we did a good job for what we were looking for.

And yeah, maybe we can hang out more. Whenever you go to Trudy's you can cross the street and there I'll be!

Hey Litsa, I found out that our apartment complex does have units with W/D connections. I bet they're probably in the 2bed/2bath units, but I'm not sure. The 2/2's are no more than $700 here, but you do have to pay electricity, internet, phone, etc. It sounds like you have a final decision already, but I really hate to see you give up your washer and dryer.

How did you find your future roommate?

yeah, I already signed the lease, so at this point I really can't second guess my decision. However, I plan to look for a third girl to share the place with us to help with the cost. There is a breakfast nook type thingie that I can turn into a third bedroom for myself. Hey xiuzan, feel like putting your set design skills to use? I was thinking I could build a fake bedroom wall to section to nook from the living room.
