Essay due today. Now I feel under pressure because although my prof gave me a great compliment on my first essay, i think i wrote a good one by mistake. i don't know if i can match it. i think the essay i'm about to turn in is way more insightful, but i had a hard time conveying my thoughts. i think Twombly (my prof) really appreciates

yea we are doing 6-8 2 page papers...

but the thing is... you have about 5 steps that go along with the final copy of each 2 pages... you need 4 drafts...audience analysis...prewriting... and a bunch of other stuff.... each part of that is graded as well >_<

I can definitely relate to writing essays. I enjoy the feeling of accomplishment after I've written one and think I've done a decent job, but I hate that process of organizing thoughts that are jumping all over the place.

I wish you much luck at the poetry slam. I would go, but I am so very behind already.
