Here is a thingie that I'm doing for my Viking Literature class instead of a proper research paper. So far I've put about 36 hours into it. :(

Heh, the narrator seems inspired by a certain drawing...

Is there any particular reason for the watery/shiny/wavery look to the narrator? I love the picture of Ortwin.

Is this Viking Literature class interesting? I don't do so well in reading things with names that I can't pronounce. Part of a book I read this past semester was about Iceland, and I wrote out the names of stuff and worked out my own way of pronouncing it so that I could actually read it instead of just placing a blank in my mind when I got to those words.

hehe. yeah, i had so much drawing to do that i borrowed the narrator from a drawing I had already done. I just kept the style in which i had drawn him, the watery look. then the rest of them i made stick figures because again, i had so much drawing to do. it was A LOT of work just for that short little power point.

the viking class isn't that interesting to me because i don't keep up with the readings. plus, i have senioritis, so i don't really care about any of my classes.

Great art work! reason_of_truth April 3 2004, 07:35:07 UTC
That's amazing art work, but your only mistake is that your "vikings" are too "english looking"...

REMEMBER... Vikings despised the English for their culture and beliefs. They hated everything about the way they dressed. They wore the most primitive of clothes such as raw pelts and grass boots..... And they did not bathe... so they had "natural" dreadlocks that were very nasty looking.

I idolize the vikings and would love to see them portrayed in the true raw and uncivilized/inebriated way that the struck fear in the hearts of the English... (and they loved their mead/ale so if you need comedy... there is tons to be had when drunk)

Well that is a little constructive criticism, and just my opinion. Do as you wish, because in the end it only matters what you like.
