it will be the first time EVER apart from when sean's car broke down on the way to aldershot and i had to put it in gear and stuff while he moved it (which didnt work) - but that doesnt really count!

Aha, good luck girl. My instructor took me to a parking lot and we just drove up and down changing gears for an hour on my first lesson. Then you have the trepidation of entering the road!!!!! You'll then have the thrill of GOIING INTO FIFTH GEAR!!!!! Then gasp as you have to develop the pyschic ability at roundabouts! You'll be fine though- hey it took me two years to pass, but I can drive!
