had my first ever driving lesson last night - and it was so much fun! i wish i'd started learning sooner

Brake, woman, BRAKE!!!!!! It's the pedal in the middle!!!!

But seriously, everything becomes natural after a while, we all went through the kangarooing stage of driving. I just couldn't believe how little pressure onthe accelerator you need to speed up.Then change gear! Wait until you reach fifth gear! Then the panic sets im first time you do that, but it's completely normal. Soon you'll be speeding all over the place ( as long as you remember to stop)!

Are you sure? Dont you just press the right pedal harder to stop?

yeah i remember which pedal is which but its the whole mirrors and indicating thing - i dont think its hard its just trying to remember all of that when there's loads of other new stuff to learn. got another lesson later so hopefully i'll have remembered most of what i learnt last week!
