YES i drove at 40mph today! drove 14 miles altogether, all round sneinton past my old house then up through carlton and gedling and countrysidey bits and through mapperley and past my old/al's house and down woodborough road AND ALL THE WAY HOME ( Read more... )

How's the job search going? Have you tried Blueskies? They've been quite helpful, they're putting me forward for a job at the mo, it's in North BIrmingham but it's 25k and I don't mind travelling, but it'll obvously spur me on to finish driving. Does your instructor reckon you might be going for your test soon then? MotorJen!

my instructor was none too pleased about the type cos she'd only had it a couple of weeks but another of her pupils did almost exactly the same thing a few days earlier so maybe it wasnt all my fault... still feel bad. but since then i have consiously chilled out all so far am driving much much better ( ... )

I nearly did a similar thing in one of my earlier lessons. A bus was coming my way and I just panicked for no reason and drove into a really steep curb. It fucked me up for the rest of my lesson. But its cool, you really do learn from those mistakes.
