Booked my driving test last week - it's not until Tues 5th June so hope I pass cos I don't wanna wait another 2 months to do it again!

Can't wait until the magical day (whenever it is) when I've passed my test and got a car!

Keep calling them up - free slots appear all the time. I think you can check that online too - look at the DSA site.

You can get a sooner test date than that, I'm sure - when I re-took a test I got another one booked within a week as someone dropped out of theirs.

Might try that - but will see how my lessons are going. Just got back from a lesson which was manoevers galore! Turn in the road - fine, reverse around corner - fine (despite it being a horrible gentle curve and it being the one I cocked up on a month ago!) and parallel park - OK just need to polish it a bit.

If I'm really happy with my driving and it's still a while before I test I'll phone them up. And will definately do that if I need a re-test cos I don't want to wait 2 months again!

Nah, haven't got a car lined up. As my inheritance from Mum selling Nan&Grandad's house, her and dad are buying me a car - double yay cos they've never been able to do anything like that before! I've left it to Dad to get something cos he knows what to look for. I'd love a Ferrari but I don't think their budget will stretch that far! Or mine for the insurance! Think I'll be in a Fiesta or Corsa or something. I'm not bothered as long as it gets me from A to B and isn't completely hideous!
