Photo Story
Yay, new chapter of "House of Pullip" for today (tonight). It's extra long because I highly doubt I will have time to put one up tomorrow. My 11-year old son is getting his braces on, and I have other things going on so I just don't think I'll have time. Braces...I've never had them so I have no idea what to expect for my son but I hope it goes alright. I don't think any of my other children will need them, but we'll see. Anyway, I'll get the next chapter up when I can, Wednesday at the latest...for now, enjoy! :D
Chapter 232: Pick Up
*Kiki and Sebastian are enjoying some tea together in “The Sweet Shoppe”*
Sebastian: I would like to introduce you to my closest friend sometime soon.
Kiki: Oh?
Sebastian: His name is Crispin…he is also a sorcerer. His lady is a pixie; I think you will like her very much.
Kiki: Sorcerers…fairies…pixies…that house you live in is very interesting.
*They both laugh*
*They quickly stop laughing as Paige enters the store…they all stare at each other uncomfortably*
*Kiki recovers first*
Kiki: Paige, how good to see you. I have your teddy bears in the back room. If you will excuse me for a minute I’ll go and get them for you.
Paige: Sure.
*Kiki steps into the back of the store*
Sebastian: …
Paige: …
Paige: Do you mind, Sebastian, if I speak to Kiki alone?
Sebastian: Why?
Paige: I swear, I won’t say anything you wouldn’t like…I just really wanted to talk to her and it will be easier for me to do this right alone.
*Sebastian considers Paige for minute and then nods*
*Sebastian leaves and Kiki returns*
Kiki: Here are your teddy bears… *she suddenly becomes aware that she is alone with Paige and becomes uncomfortable*
Paige: Great, can I see them?
Kiki: Of course.
*Paige examines the bears stiffly*
Kiki: I hope they are what you want.
Paige: Yes, these will do nicely.
*Paige pays for the bears and prepares to leave*
Kiki: Thank you…I do hope you come again if you need anything.
Paige: Do you mean that or are you just saying it because it’s what you say to all your customers?
Kiki: *irritated* I do mean it…I like to help people.
Paige: I see.
Kiki: I know you don’t like me…you don’t have to come back if you don’t want to. It’s up to you…good day.
Paige: *sigh* I’m doing this badly…I’m sorry.
Kiki: What?
Paige: I meant to come here and apologize for the way I treated you before and I’m not doing it very well.
*Kiki stares at her in surprise*
Paige: I am sorry. I was angry and upset and I took it out on you. Please forgive me?
Kiki: Do you mean that?
Paige: I do.
Kiki: Then I forgive you.
*Paige nods and leaves the store*
Kiki: That was…unexpected. Where did Sebastian go?
Outside…
*Paige exits the store and finds Sebastian waiting*
Sebastian: Thank you.
Paige: Were you listening?
Sebastian: Yes.
Paige: *rolls eyes* Figures.
Sebastian: I only wanted to be sure you were not going to upset her again. I would have done the same for you when we were together, you know.
Paige: *sigh* I know…and I want you to know, too, that I’m sorry I’ve acted so stupid lately. I’m going to be regretting that for a long time.
Sebastian: Apology accepted.
Paige: You’d better go back inside, she’s waiting for you.
Back Inside…
*Sebastian re-enters “The Sweet Shoppe”*
Kiki: There you are! Why did you leave?
Sebastian: Paige asked me to.
Kiki: Oh…she apologized to me, you know.
*Sebastian nods*
Kiki: I didn’t expect that.
Sebastian: Neither did I…but she is not all bad.
Kiki: Of course she isn’t! You wouldn’t have wanted to be with her before if she was…and you told me some nice things about her. I wish I could get to know her better…but under the circumstances that might not be the best idea.
Sebastian: Maybe…maybe later, when everything calms down, you can get to know her better.
Kiki: We’ll see, I suppose…
Meanwhile…
*Paige walks along miserably*
Voice: Paige, there you are!
*Melodie enters*
Paige: Melodie, I got these teddy bears for those little ones of yours. I’m thinking they would make really nice fairy gifts. We can work on it together.
Melodie: What a wonderful idea, thank you! But…why do you look so down, dear?
Paige: I apologized to both Kiki and Sebastian. It was the right thing to do, but I still feel so alone.
Melodie: I’m here.
Paige: I know.
Melodie: And it was the right thing to do, I’m proud of you. Come on; let’s work on these bears…that will help take your mind off things.
*Melodie leads Paige away*

I hope you enjoyed seeing Paige and Kiki again, although there wasn't a whole lot of drama involved in their meeting. However, we'll be seeing more Paige soon as well and Kiki and Sebastian...I'm not done with any of them yet. ;)
