Chapter 238: No Help
*Sebastian is walking to “The Sweet Shoppe” to visit Kiki*
Voice from behind: Sebastian! I need to talk to you!
*Ronan runs up*
Sebastian: What is wrong?
Ronan: Nothing, but I need your help…please.
Sebastian: Oh?
Ronan: I…met someone…
Sebastian: Met someone? Ah…a lady.
Ronan: Her name is Melodie and she is…beautiful. *sighs*
Sebastian: Yes, she is Paige’s older sister.
Ronan: *eager* You know her?
Sebastian: I do indeed…but…there are a few things you should know about her.
Ronan: Tell me everything!
Sebastian: Well, this should be obvious…she’s half fairy.
Ronan: I don’t care.
Sebastian: *surprised* Really?
Sebastian: Be careful now Ronan, Melodie is no princess, she is of no rank that you seek.
Ronan: I already said I don’t care! There is something about her…
Sebastian: She is very kind, with an unspoiled heart. If you hurt her I may have to kill you myself.
Ronan: *aghast* I would never hurt her!
Ronan: Please, I’ve never felt like this before…I need to know…is this love?
Sebastian: Unlikely…but that does not mean it could not become so.
Ronan: What do I do? I don’t know what to do…
Sebastian: I am afraid this is something you will have to figure out yourself. I am not a matchmaker.
Ronan: But…
Sebastian: No. All I can advise you to do is to follow your heart and remember she is a lady who should be treated with the utmost care above all else.
Ronan: *nods*
*Sebastian leaves*
Ronan: He was the only one I could ask for help, and now I’m alone. I don’t know what to do, but I can’t get Miss Melodie out of my mind…I need help! There isn’t anyone else I can ask…except…
*Ivy has been telling Sabrina about her dilemma*
Ivy: So I like them both but I like Felix more. But Felix isn’t interested and Zander is…what should I do?
Sabrina: I’m no help; I don’t like either of them.
Ivy: Only because they don’t like you.
Sabrina: *laughs* Maybe so…I just think you should find someone that you like and likes you, too. Love is a two-way street you know.
*Ivy thinks, staying silent*
Sabrina: But…I will admit…I mostly disliked Zander because of how he treated me. However, he has been perfectly nice to you. As much as I hate to say this, maybe you should give him a chance at least.
Ivy: *unsure* Do you…really think so?
Sabrina: I couldn’t hurt, just don’t lead him on…know what I mean?
Ivy: Yeah…but this is hard.
Sabrina: Yep. But if it was easy it wouldn’t be worth it in the end…at least you have someone who likes you. I have no one. I’m always on that one-way street. *laughs*
Ivy: I’ll try my best…for you.
Sabrina: No, do it for you. You deserve it!

Ronan is...desperate. He really doesn't know what to do, it's kind of funny, but I don't know if it's cute or a little pathetic. Maybe both. :P
Ivy is also still trying to figure out her confusing love life.
Now much is going on, but school is going to start soon so I'm trying to gear up for back to school shopping. It's fun, but expensive. :P Plus my oldest son has band camp next week. I just finished reading the last book in the "Twilight" series, "Breaking Dawn". It was...unexpected, yet predictable once I figured out where the author was going with it. I liked it better then most of the rest of the series. Out of the four books I really didn't like the two middle books much...way too much angst and lame melodrama for me to stomach. :P For the most part, the first one is pretty good and I did like how the last book finished it up. Anyway, I'm into my other books now and I've been spending most of the summer reading "Harry Potter" aloud to my kids, we are most of the way through book 5. I don't think we will be able to finish all 7 by the end of the summer unless we pick up the pace a bit. :P
