Photo Story
I set out to take the photos for this new chapter today and the only dry area outside I could find was crawling with ants! :O Then it started raining...I guess Edourand still has remnants hanging around over us for the next few days (thunder has been rumbling all afternoon). Anyway, I did indoor photos today, I could not persuade the ants outside to leave, heh. Plus they were fire ants (aka: little freakin' devils) so I felt it was safer for me to just let them be. :P Anyway, enjoy this new ant-free chapter of "House of Pullip"!
Chapter 239: Desperate
Ronan: Uh…Miss Sabrina…may I talk to you, please?
Sabrina: Oh, you want to talk to me now?
Ronan: Yes. I was hasty before…
Sabrina: Really?
Ronan: I do need help. Please, if you could help me I would appreciate it.
Sabrina: Why the sudden change of heart?
Ronan: Honestly?
Sabrina: Please.
Ronan: I don’t know who else to ask.
Sabrina: I’m your last resort? So much for my ego…
Ronan: Sorry.
Sabrina: Don’t apologize, I’m only teasing.
Ronan: So will you help? See, I met this lady…
Sabrina: Whoa, whoa, wait one minute…you want me to help you snag a girl? No can do.
Ronan: But…
Sabrina: I want to help YOU get better, I’m not a matchmaker! You have to understand that or I’m not doing anything. If you fall in love later, then it’s just a bonus.
Ronan: Okay, I’ll do whatever you want…just please help me!
Sabrina: Wow, you really must be desperate.
Ronan: I just want to know one thing before we start…what do you want in return?
Sabrina: *slightly surprised* Nothing…
Ronan: *suspicious* Nothing?
Sabrina: *rolls eyes* Don’t believe me if you don’t want, but I’m doing this pro bono.
Ronan: Are you sure?
Sabrina: Cross my heart and hope to die.
Ronan: Well…okay then. You really have changed, haven’t you?
Sabrina: You have no idea…
Elsewhere…
Zander: Hey, Ivy!
Ivy: Zander, what are you doing here? I thought you were going to call me.
Zander: I decided I wanted to see you instead. You don’t mind do you?
Ivy: No.
*Zander sits rather close to Ivy*
Zander: How have you been?
Ivy: Fine. Oh…guess what?
Zander: What?
Ivy: I enrolled in a few night classes for next semester. I thought that would be a safe thing to try before nose diving into school full-time…especially when I’m still not sure.
Zander: *smiles* I think that’s a great idea! I hope it works out for you.
Ivy: We’ll see.
Zander: Come on, Ivy, you can do anything you want to do…I know it.
Ivy: You think?
Zander: Yeah.
*They look at each other closely…*
*Ivy looks away*
Ivy: Um…how much school do you have left?
Zander: *disgruntled* About a year. It depends how long it takes me to write my research thesis.
Ivy: That sounds hard.
Zander: *shrugs* It’s just the way it is.
Ivy: I have to go to work…
Zander: I’ll see you later then. Hey, maybe this weekend? Will you go out with me again?
Ivy: Sure, I’d like that.
Zander: Okay, until then.
Ivy: Bye.
*Ivy leaves and Zander sighs deeply*
Zander: I wonder why she doesn’t want to kiss me? Hmmm…maybe this weekend I can…persuade her to change her mind…

Sabrina is enjoying Ronan's desperation, but she really does intend to help him. That should be fun.
Zander needs a cold shower... :P He is better, but still not that patient when it's obvious Ivy needs some time to figure out how she feels about him. Zander doesn't understand "feelings" that much, heh.
I finally just up and sent a message to Lati about when they were going to ship my order. I didn't complain and tried to keep it simple and friendly. They wrote back right away and said my order should ship out this week sometime! I'm happy to hear this but I will be a lot happier when I actually get a shipping notice so I know for sure my order is coming soon, so I'm staying guarded. However, if they really do ship this week I should get it by next week so this is good news. I hope Lati meant it when they told me that. :P
